Story Time!

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Boy. Boy was waking up from a good night's sleep, when he realized he was hungry! "There's nothing to eat," said Boy. "Go find some food," yelled Boy's mother. Luckily, a bluebird flew into Boy's bedroom with a "box o' them there donuts!" Boy shooed away the bird, and started eating the donuts. Boy's mother came in to fold Boy's laundry, when she realized Boy was eating a donut for breakfast. "What are ya doin' with that there box o' donuts?" asked Boy's mother. "I am eating this here donut for breakfast, for it is, in fact, a healthy bagel."

Doughnuts or Donuts? Who really cares? The fancy "doughnut" restaurants like Krispy Kreme Doughnuts spell it "doughnut" either to just be fancy, or "Krispy Kreme Donuts" was already copyrighted. Most other people prefer the simple, "Donut". Dough might be what makes it, but it's covered with so much glaze and toppings that that doesn't even matter anymore!
