If we drink soda out of aluminum cans, we can recycle the cans, and they could be used again! Usually, you shouldn't recycle food-contaminated products, such as pizza boxes, that can't be washed out. If you ask me, I don't think aluminum cans should be recycled, because I think goats can eat them, so they are food-contaminated.
The symbol for recycling is three green arrows running after each other in a triangle! There are three arrows because most things can only be recycled three times, or that's what they WANT you to think! The arrows are green because the dude who thought of recycling didn't have a favorite color; so he decided his favorite color green, and so the arrows are green!
Back when they thought of it, everyone got their food by hunting, there weren't very many grocery stores. Since they all used they're bows and arrows to recycle the animals into humans, the recycling sign was the three arrows.
The arrows are running after each other because when the first official sign was created, the arrows that we posing were in the middle of a fight. They were tackling and running after each other. They were trying to make the sign look more realistic by recycling each other!
Soon, after everyone saw this amazing symbol, everyone started to recycle, and after all that time that recycling was around, it's gone worldwide! Lots of people recycle now! We do all of this to "save the planet," but that not the only reason. We also recycle so our trash can be turned into useful material that some guy's company gets for free and sells to other places and gets rich. The C.E.O. of the company probably spends all of his money on everything useless that he isn't going to use. They always say, "your trash is our treasure," and they mean it!
I'm not trying to discourage you from recycling, I'm just telling the sad truth. Yup, that's right, I'm eating frosting by the spoonful right now.
